Why us?
Cumulatively we have 13 decades in the industry; working 15+ of those years together as a team. We have long-term relationships with our stakeholders - owners, contractors, and tenants. We also bring with us a large network of like-minded real estate industry colleagues who also believe in “giving back to the community”. These associates, our “Partner partners”, include experts in management, leasing, law, taxation, accounting, engineering, and an army of qualified contractors.

Our Team

Who are the Legacy Partners?
A group of dedicated real estate professionals who are not only highly skilled in their fields but who, after many years of working in the industry, together decided they wanted to give back to the community that has been so good to them – to create a legacy company that would endure by bringing in new, like-minded partners to continue their commitment . . . to be remembered as good people who strived to be difference makers – to create a legacy together.

 
 
 
Vyetta Sunderland
Vyetta has been active in the real estate business for over 40 years. She is a multi-disciplinary professional whose introduction to the business began with a local developer in their property management group. During her tenure there she gained invaluable knowledge in development, construction and real estate assets ranging from motels to multi-family residential, office, retail and industrial properties. The learning continued as Vyetta worked with two other groups before launching her own property management company in 1996.

She is a leader, problem solver and deal maker who loves the animated nature of real estate. Her commitment to the industry includes having been the President of BOMA Calgary, Chair of BOMI Canada and Chair of BOMI International. Vyetta’s personal time is spent enjoying golf, traveling, volunteering, friends, and her Shiba Inus.

 
 
 
Susan Jackson
Susan’s experience in business, over more than 40 years, has included customer service; aspects of accounting – budgeting; monthly and annual reporting; developing systems and individual reports; and management of teams to achieve deadlines and develop the necessary processes. The majority of her working life has been in Property Management with companies ranging from boutique to international companies managing third party real estate and also owned real estate. Each aspect has increased her knowledge of the diversity of the management style, goals and objectives of owners; the various avenues to achieve the goals and objectives and also to recognize opportunities available “outside the box”.

Personal interests include year round physical activity; reading; needlework; travel and volunteering for various organizations.

 
 
 
Tracy Bakker
Tracy is our resident ‘Administration whiz’ and is currently the office manager. With over 15 years experience in the “office side” of Property Management administration, her organizational skills and attention to detail ensure the day-to-day functions of the office run smoothly, time-sensitive materials are processed within deadlines and all administration operations are handled appropriately.

In her off time, she loves spending time with family and friends, travelling, camping and crafting.

 
 
 
Judy Darcy
Judy’s property management career spans more than 35 years and includes extensive experience in retail, office, industrial, suburban office, and residential management. From her start in a one-person office, helping to grow the company to include branches in several cities throughout western Canada, she has enjoyed much personal and professional growth as she honed her knowledge and skills. Her expertise also includes leasing, infrastructure upgrades, and capital plans. Her communication skills with both clients and suppliers ensure expectations are managed and met and projects are completed; her common sense in evaluating challenges and coming up with solutions ensures the best possible outcome to a given situation.

Judy enjoys time with her family, camping, hiking with her 8-yr old chocolate lab, biking, reading, volunteering, and socializing with friends.
